Since 2005, Shoot for Success has gone into homeless shelters and elsewhere in New York City and worked with homeless children in
after-school or weekend programs, teaching them how to express themselves through the camera lens. Please visit this
website to learn more about these talented children, our program --
and what you can do to help!

Shoot for Success is a program created by a high school student after working as a volunteer with homeless youth
in New York City -- and being struck by their desire to speak out… and their perceived inability to do so. Shoot for Success was created to give
these talented homeless youth a voice -- and a vehicle to express themselves to each other, and the world. That vehicle is a camera. What they
produced is an extraordinary glimpse into their lives -- through their eyes.
Our goal is to get those pictures and words out to the world. To give their voices a podium -- through art exhibits,
presentations, printed materials and this website. And in so doing, to empower these children to use their
voices effectively and educate the world about their needs, to inspire change.
To date, their works have been presented at venues ranging from the Guggenheim Museum and City Hall, to the Magnan Projects
art gallery exhibition in Chelsea -- and was selected to exhibit at the PULSE International Art Fair in NYC.
